Meeting with Univerza na Primorskem

Last 22 June 2009, Prof. Pier Luigi Nimis (UNITS) and Mr. Nicola Dorigo Salamon (TBA) had a meeting with Prof. Claudio Battelli of Univerza na Primorskem from Koper (Slovenia) to agree on the kind of collaboration with and within the KeyToNature project.

The Univerza na Primorskem has recently become a new KeyToNature Associate Member. The University is strongly interested in developing multilingual identification guides to different marine environments, to be used for educational purposes.

The novel guides will be developed for specific marine "environments", which host different kinds of organisms/species. UNITS is going to provide the new Associate Member with technical assistance and training on how to use the FRIDA software for key-building and editing.
