Audubon Core Non normative document

The Audubon Core standard has been developed on this site, but moved to http://species-id.net/wiki/Audubon_Core_Non_normative_document before public review. The present page should, however, not be deleted - it records substantial development history in its page history (see the "history" tab at the top, giving access to all earlier versions).

The Audubon Core was the result of the Multimedia Resource Task Group of GBIF and TDWG. See MRTG for the documentation of the earlier MRTG-based precursor documents.
