L' Orto Botanico in mostra

To celebrate the 2010 - International Year of Biodiversity - the Botanical Garden of the University of Ferrara is organizing an exhibition entitled: "The Botanical Garden of Ferrara yesterday, today and tomorrow. "

The exhibition will be inaugurated at the premises of Palazzo Turchi-Di Bagno (Corso Ercole I d'Este 32) Tuesdays' April 13 at 16.30 and will be open daily, including holidays, from 9:00 to 18:00 until 15 June.

A series of panels and materials extensive illustrate the history of the Botanical Garden from birth to present day and will present the educational and scientific Orto in the present and in future developments.

The program is largely based on the use of KeyToNature interactive guides, including those for PDAs that were made available by KeyToNature to our Associate Member.

There will be also three public lectures to be held in the Aula Magna of the University.

The exhibition is made possible by a contribution from the Ministry, under the patronage of the Municipality of Ferrara.
