Description: Tree up to 21m high with numerous twigs giving a dense crown. Thorns present but very few. Leaves alternate, ovate or widest above the middle, irregularly toothed, glossy on the upper surface, downy white beneath. Flowers 20mm diameter, 5-petalled, white, on woolly stalks in clusters. Styles 1-3. Fruits fleshy, 16-18mm long, globular or slightly pear-shape, orange red; seeds 2 or more.
