Gli Orti Botanici italiani nel XXI secolo: nuovi ruoli e strategie

The Botanical Gardens Group (Italian Botanical Society) in collaboration with the Department of Environmental Science of the University of Camerino (a KeyToNature Associate Member) for the 180 anniversary of the Botanical Garden Foundation is organizing a symposium entitled "The Italian Botanical Gardens in the twenty-first century: new roles and new strategies".
The Conference, beside the various talks, will foresee the participation of Prof. Pier Luigi Nimis presenting the KeyToNature project and of Ms. Suzanne Sharrock, responsible for the Global Programmes for BGCI. At the end of the talks a round table is scheduled for discussing innovative, shared and common strategies for the botanical gardens management.

The conference will be held in Camerino at Palazzo Ducale - Aula ‘Carlo Esposito’ on 30 May 2009 from h. 10.00 to h. 17.00.
