104th Congress of the Italian Botanical Society

The Board of Italian Botanical Society, which became a new KeyToNature Associate Member, invited Prof. Pier Luigi Nimis (UNITS) to give a talk in the framework of the Annual Congress (104th Edition) of the Italian Botanical Society.
The presentation will be centered on KeyToNature and on the creation of an interactive guide to the Italian lichens.
The 104th Congress of the Italian Society of Botany will be held at the University of Molise, in Campobasso, from 16th to 19th of September 2009. To highlight the deep link between sustainable development and botany, the Congress has been entitled “Plant sciences in culture and economical development”
The Congress is structured in 6 symposia:
- Flora and Culture
- Global strategy for plant conservation
- Contributions to the Italian Flora
- New frontiers in lichenology
- New approaches in plant Sciences
- State of the art and methodologies for a new Italian Flora.
