»KeyToNature: a new way of teaching and learning biodiversity« - workshops for teachers of biology and science in Slovenia

In November and December 2008 seven KeyToNature workshops were organized with cooperation of Slovenian Museum of Natural History and The National Education Institute of Slovenia at several primary schools in different regions of Slovenia. KeyToNature project was introduced to more than 200 teachers of biology and science. The workshops included a short PowerPoint presentation about KeyToNature project, online demonstrations of KeyToNature web site and interactive keys suitable for Slovenia, demonstration of a Quiz and practical work with one of the Dryades keys (see some photos from the event). At the end of each workshop teachers were invited to participate in the project as Friends of KeyToNature.
